Mazen Fayad is an award winning Creative and Film Director. He studied Graphic Design at the American University of Beirut (AUB) and followed it up with a Masters degree in Marketing Communications at the University of Westminster in London. He started his career in Advertising as an Art Director with Leo Burnett. In 2006, he joined JWT to become the youngest Executive Creative Director in the Middle East at the age of 30. After directing several commercials within the agency, Mazen decided to make the leap into professional film directing - backing it up with a degree from The New York Film Academy in Manhattan. Since then, he has been behind the camera shooting both regionally and internationally with representations in the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Africa. In 2010, he was selected to shoot the Saudi Telecom campaigns for both Manchester United and Real Madrid. To his credit are spots for brands like McDonald’s, Nokia, Pepsi, Pizza Hut, Nestle, Leaver and Vodafone among many others.

His latest venture is in the Content Development field. He has recently launched The Brightside, a creative post-production lab, specialized in 2D animation. Whenever he is not directing films, he is there instead, directing animations, and flirting with the latest digital trends... Always true to his nature.
