Augusto de Fraga was born in October 1978 on the Azores Islands, Portugal.

He studied Audiovisual Communication in Portugal and moved to Barcelona to widen his studies in the Universidad Autónoma. In 2001 he went to the US to broaden his skills at the New York Film Academy.

With his first commercial as a director for Sitges Film Festival, he won a silver prize at the San Sebastian Festival. This same spot was selected by shots #90. In the same year he was selected as one of the best new directors in Spain by the APPE.

Since that moment he shot many national and international commercials, including work for Nike ('Spanish Armada' selected in shots #126), Heineken, Vodafone, Veri, Continental, PlayStation, Smint, Mercedes-Benz, working with the most creative agencies.
