Fuzule Tezcan is a passionate director who believes that every story that touches a human life carries intrinsic value. For her, directing is not just a profession; it is a mission she embraces to raise awareness, inspire children to pursue their dreams, and hold up a mirror to the issues she witnesses in life rather than remaining silent. She graduated from Yeditepe University’s Department of Radio, Television and Cinema in 2016. Even during her university years, she began working behind the scenes in the industry. Her career started at the Altın Koza Film Festival, where she was responsible for backstage coordination and writing scripts for the award ceremonies. Over time, she gained experience in various roles on set, including script continuity, assistant directing, and coordination, climbing the steps toward directing one by one. After graduation, she lived and continued producing work in Canada for a period. Today, Fuzule Tezcan is recognized as a versatile director working across commercials, documentaries, and music videos. She has directed films for a wide range of brands, from international names such as Clinique, Sixt, and Algida to Turkey-based companies like Beko, Eti, and Aroma. She has also collaborated with public institutions like the Ministry of Family and Social Services on awareness-focused projects. While she enjoys the creative energy of the commercial world, Fuzule continues to pursue documentary filmmaking, using it as a vehicle to spotlight social issues. Among these is her earthquake documentary released on the digital platform Gain. Notably, a documentary she created during the pandemic in 2020 went viral and led to invitations from national news channels, helping her message reach a broader audience. One of her most meaningful works, the documentary Solma Çiçeğim, was created in memory of Ahmet Minguzzi and dedicated to all children whose right to life was taken away. This film is not merely a narrative; it is a call to become a voice for children and to stir empathy in the hearts of its viewers. Fuzule brings her work to life with sincerity and deep passion. As she expresses on her Vimeo page: “I don't care what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for—and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing.” This quote reflects her belief that what truly matters is not titles, but the dreams and longings people carry in their hearts, just like the passion that shapes her own cinema
